The aim of this lesson is for pupils to be able to read a production drawing in order to produce the part shown and to identify all the important elements on the drawing. The pupils have to combine knowledge from different subjects, but the topic is essential for their further studies and everyday work practice.

After some initial difficulties, various “motivational techniques” were introduced and developed in this lesson. Ways of assigning feasible tasks and giving feedback to the pupils are shown.
